Yesterday was the perfect day for the Olympic Torch Relay! In Cheltenham, it went right past the shop, and the turn out was phenomenal, we could not believe it. We thought we would share the photos of the event as a lot of people are unable to attend the relay. It is apart of history and such a great community feel when you see it! Even if you are standing around for 3.5 hours in 30 plus degrees!

Above is our tribute to the Olympic games, lots of cake still left so if you are about and fancy some, pop in, it’s free!

Now, being a mum, i barely have enugh time to breath, so when an oppertunity to make some fresh bread is available, i will always jump at the chance - Especially Soda bread, as it is almost as easy to make as foccatia! And so yummy toasted, dripping with butter!
Generally it is seen alot healthier to east than other breads, but not if you slap aload of butter on it! My mum introduced me to it when she was particapating in a non wheat, no sugar and non dairy diet a few years ago.
Keep independant shops alive and shop in them! Screw the big players in this game, we are the ones that need all the support you can get. If you love kitchenware, homewares, gifts and a huge amount of kitschness then keep the little shops running, come and see us now!
